Plank Road-AKA West river road- three years of arrogance and lack of leadership, gets one of the most prized and scenic byways closed not temporally but indefinitely.
There is a way to use public and private partnerships to get plank road fixed- correctly- now.
Cedar Riverside Coyle Center- Hard working citizens trying to give the best life they can to their children are treated like an enemy by current leadership. This makes me angry when an elected official treats citizens like this. Its time for a change.
East Phillips- the incumbent took a 3 million dollar gift from the State to improve the community center in this neighborhood and turned it into a 4 year odyssey of poor designs and wasted $400,000 in design fees.Today no building has been built 4 years later.Lets get this park done for the kids in the East Phillips Area!

As a runner and cyclist, I am a passionate advocate of our districts open parks and open spaces, Mill Ruins, West River Parkway, Mississippi Gorge, Seven Oaks, Cedar Field, Riverside, East Phillips, Murphy and Currie.
As an athlete committed advocate for our recreation centers Powderhorn, Phillips, Longfellow, Stewart, Corcoran, Mathews, Peavey, Bracket and Central.
Sustain our system:
Move the Park Boards innovative green initiatives from talk into action.
Work to make Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board the regions leader in environmental protection, clean energy and green building.
Support parks for kids, adults and dogs:
Tailor programs and services to the demographics and needs of the community.
Promote programming innovation like the recording studio in Powderhorn, dog parks, skate parks, and alternative sports.
Secure our parks for the future:
Make the Park Board independent.
Work proactively with local businesses, foundations and individuals involved to create funding partnerships on our terms with our commercializing the park system.
